18 years ago, I was riding my bike in the Gatewood neighborhood and saw this wonderful house for sale with an amazing view of the Olympic mountains and Puget Sound. I quickly called my real estate agent and said, “I have found my home.” My chocolate lab, Cosmo and I packed up our things and moved in.

Enjoying the sunsets on the back deck with friends, cooking meals looking out over the Puget Sound, and sitting next to a warm fire in the living room with a glass of wine are some of my favorite memories. The house has a beautiful landscaped flat lot with a west facing view and a big-fenced backyard. It has a detached garage and is one of the few neighborhoods that have the powerlines buried, which greatly enhances the views.

The neighborhood is just a quick walk down the hill to Morgan Junction and is very family oriented. My daughter took her first steps in the house, built her first snowman in the backyard and yes…… snow skied down the hill. With an expanding family it is time to say goodbye.
