From the sellers...
When we first saw this home, we fell in love with the beautiful front porch. It’s massive vaulted beams and architectural character felt so welcoming and special. We had never seen this before. Yet we could envision it as the perfect backdrop for birthdays and first day of school photos. The structure also frames the magnificent birch tree in the front yard—an especially lovely view from the living room and porch.
We found that utterly compelling classic character throughout the house: the original millwork, views of the Puget Sound from the dining room and kitchen. Plus the wonderfully walkable location. We had to have it.
In the nearly 15 years since then, we have lovingly restored and updated the home. When our children were small we often walked to Ercolini Park for play time. We walk to Junction almost every day for restaurants and shops, including treasures like Easy Street records, Husky Deli, the Farmer’s Market, and other nearby conveniences.
We feel lucky to have been the stewards of this gem of a home in the most walkable, vibrant West Seattle neighborhood. Although we love it and will certainly miss it (the boys get a little teary about leaving;), we are happy to pass it on to the next owners and stewards.
