We are fortunate to have had the opportunity to be a part of the Anderson Gardens community. This happened unexpectedly and without real intent. We were initially drawn to the home because it felt like an urban oasis. Then very naturally, our neighbors became friends through shared moments in the garden, taking in sunsets and witnessing wildlife enjoying the bounty of fruits there.
Falling in love with the house and making it our home was one of the easiest things to do. Letting it go, one of the harder ones. Like our daughter, it is time for this home to take flight, for it to be a part of another family’s stories. We have had our share of laughter floating a paddleboard in the pond, watching ships pass and taking endless sunset photos, fretting over a preponderance of great blue herons holding vigil at the water’s edge and delighting in fireworks from the rooftop.
This house has been thoroughly loved and it will bring joy to whoever calls it home next.
