From the seller... Having lived downtown in apartments with city views and no laundry for most of our adult lives, we weren't sure what to look for when buying our first home. We were expecting a baby, and had decided on West Seattle, but fell in love with this neighborhood--beautiful parks, tree-lined sidewalks, and the diverse mix of families and neighbors who make it such a vibrant community. Our daughter has grown up knowing not just our neighbors’ names, but their dogs’ names as well (and they all have dogs!). Daily impromptu chats on the sidewalk, last-minute playdates at the park, decorating for the holidays, and countless neighborhood events have helped to create a sense of community and connection that made us feel welcome and supported. Ruby would say her favorite thing about our home was playing with her friends at the "dragon park" and the icecream truck that cruises through nearly every evening. Over the past 7 years, this house has been the backdrop for some of our family’s most treasured memories.
